Do you offer supply-only services for your sliding doors?
No, we do not offer supply-only services. To ensure perfect fit and functionality, we require that one of our trained installation partners handle both the survey and installation. This ensures that your project runs smoothly, with no room for errors.
Will you conduct a survey of my project before installation?
Yes, a detailed survey is conducted by our installation partners to ensure the correct measurements and to assess any site-specific conditions. This guarantees a precise fit and helps us achieve flush floor levels for a seamless transition.
Are your doors custom-made to fit my space?
Absolutely. All of the sliding doors are custom-made to fit your specific aperture. We do not stock standard sizes, so each door is tailored for your project, ensuring a perfect fit.
What sizes are available for the sliding doors?
The sliding door panels can be manufactured up to 4.2 meters wide and 3.2 meters tall, with a maximum area of 9 square meters per panel. This allows for expansive glass areas and uninterrupted views.
What colours can I choose for my sliding doors?
Our current installers offer a selection of four marine-grade colours:
- Brushed Platinum (Anodised)
- RAL 7016 Matt Anthracite Grey
- RAL 7021 Matt Black Grey
- RAL 9005 Matt Jet Black
These colors are chosen for durability and aesthetic appeal, ensuring long-lasting quality.
How thin are the frames on your sliding doors?
The frames feature a central sightline of just 20mm, offering an ultra-slim and minimal appearance. The outer frames at the sides and head measure 50mm, but we can conceal much of this with surrounding materials for a sleeker look.
What are the thermal properties of the doors?
The double-glazed doors have a U-value of 1.2, exceeding building regulation standards. There are also triple glazing, which reduces the U-value to an impressive 0.7 for enhanced thermal efficiency.
Can the sliding doors be integrated into smart home systems?
Yes, the sliding doors come equipped with Niko Home Control wall switches, making them fully compatible with most smart home systems. This allows for convenient and secure control of your doors.
Do you offer corner sliding door systems?
Yes, our installers provide innovative corner solutions, including sliding and opening corners that allow you to completely open up the corner of your space, creating a dramatic effect and maximizing your views.
